Overview

What it is

CNC work centres and edge machines rely on diamond tooling: fingerbits and core drills for cut-outs, profile wheels that grind a complete edge shape (bullnose, ogee, dupont and more) in one pass, and polishing wheels to finish the profile.

Sintered tools last longest; electroplated tools reproduce fine detail. Most stone CNC tools use a ½" gas thread or a tool-holder taper.
